Anbei ein paar erste Eindrücke von Nova Scotia. Der Küsten-Charme hier hat es mir ja mächtig angetan. Vor allem dann, wenn sich die Sonne durch den dramatischen Herbsthimmel kämpft, die bunten Häuschen anstrahlt und die noch immer farbenfrohe Natur in ein rotgelbes Farbenspiel taucht.
All die kleinen Fischerorte liegen langsam wieder im Schönheitsschlaf und erholen sich von den Touristen, die sich hier im Sommer gedrängt haben müssen. Wir stören uns nicht mehr an den „Closed for the season“-Schildern und genießen die Ruhe an der stürmischen Küste. Lunenburg, Blue Rocks und Peggy's Cove sowie ein frisches Sandwich mit zarten Jakobsmuscheln gehören zu meinen Highlights der westlichen Hälfte in Nova Scotia.

Here's a few first impressions on Nova Scotia. I love the coastal charme! Especially when the sun fights its way through the dramatic autumn skys and shines on the colourful little houses or dips
nature in its golden light.
All the cute fishing villages here must have been busting with tourists during the summer, but now they are sleepy little places again. We don't mind the „closed for the season“ signs and enjoy
nice strolls through towns, villages and country, with Lunenburg, Blue Rocks and Peggy's Cove being my favourites so far, and not to forget an awesome local scallop sandwich!
