Ankunft in Toronto

Nach 20 Tagen unterwegs in der kanadischen Wildnis haben wir die Ankunft in der Großstadt noch ein wenig heraus gezögert. So waren wir noch in der Georgian Bay paddeln ohne zu ahnen, wie toll wir in Toronto willkommen geheißen werden würden und wie beschäftigt wir in den Tagen vor Mutti und Reiner's Ankunft noch sein werden.

Dickes Dankeschön an Marcus und Tyler, die uns mit einem richtigen Bett und einem atemberaubenden Blick auf Toronto Downtown verwöhnen. Und an unsere Kollegin Ceilidh und Familie, für die netten Kontakte.

So sitzen wir nun hier im 36. Stockwerk am Hafen von Toronto bei Nico's Cousin und laden die ersten Bildeindrücke hoch bevor wir die Fähre zum Toronto Island Park nehmen, um mit Ceilidh's Onkel und Tante Kaffee auf ihrem Segelboot zu trinken.

After about 20 days on the road in the canadian wilderness we did not really want to arrive in the big city. So we spend some time paddeling in the Georgian Bay, without knowing how welcome we'd be here in Toronto and how busy we'd be until mom and Reiner's arrival.
Big, huge „Thank You“ to Marcus and Tyler, who are spoiling us with a real bed and this amazing downtown view. And to our collegue Ceilidh and family for the connections.

So here we are, sitting on the 36^th floor above the lakeshore at Nico's cousins's and upload the first impressions before we'll take the ferry to Toronto Island Park and catch up with Ceilidh's auntie and uncle for coffee. And tomorrow I am so looking forward to see mom!
